The new downtown favorite
Fulton & Main opened downtown and quickly became one of Adams County's most-loved restaurants — it even won a county-wide 'best restaurant' vote, and holds a perfect recommendation score on Facebook. Keep an eye out for the bears decorating the dining room: a nod to the bear on Berne's town flag, borrowed from our sister city of Bern, Switzerland.
What to order
The breaded pork tenderloin sandwich — an Indiana icon — is a standout here, alongside the bacon burger, the Black Bear Club, and truffle fries with a devoted fan base. The bar pours craft cocktails, beer, and wine. Weekend brunch is a local event — pancakes and a full brunch menu that regulars rave about, with special spreads on holidays like Mother's Day.
Good to know
There's outdoor seating, a kids' menu, TVs, a pool table, and a laid-back atmosphere that works equally well for date night, a family dinner, or travelers passing through on US 27 — more than one couple has stumbled in on a road trip and left planning a return visit. Reservations are accepted, takeout is available, and it's wheelchair accessible. Closed Sunday through Tuesday.
